Bottle green

Bottle green is the deep, slightly cool green of old glass bottles held up to the light. It is brighter than forest green and clearer than olive, with a jewel quality whenever light passes through it. On walls it creates a calm, enclosed feeling that suits studies, bathrooms and stair halls. In glass and window film it throws a soft green cast across the floor. It pairs with amber, cobalt and violet in stained-glass schemes, and with brass and cream when you want something classic.
