Charlie's Bud does not use advertising trackers or set its own cookies at present. Visitor numbers are counted in aggregate to understand how the site is used, and are not used to build profiles of anyone.
When a page loads, the services that host and measure this site receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. It is used to run, secure and improve the site, on the basis of legitimate interests, and visitor numbers are viewed only in aggregate.
If you email hello@charliesbud.com, your address and message are used to reply to you.
If you choose Light or Dark, that choice is kept in your own browser so the site remembers it. It stays on your device.
Hosting, analytics and email are provided by service providers working for Charlie's Bud. Some may process information in other countries, with the safeguards the law requires.
Shops, the newsletter, Pinterest and the Charlie's Bud shop are run by other companies under their own privacy policies. When you follow an affiliate link, the shop may record that your visit came from Charlie's Bud.
Information is kept only as long as it is needed for these purposes. You can ask to see, correct or delete personal information held about you, or object to how it is used, by emailing hello@charliesbud.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
